Two Oklahoma ODOC corrections officers, Micah Wasche, and her husband Travis Wascher, were arrested at their Canute home Friday evening. The two worked at North Fork Correctional Center in Sayre. They were booked into the Custer County jail for trafficking of a controlled dangerous substance.

The couple was arrested after ODOC’s Security Threats Intelligence Office agents and members of the District 2 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force served a search warrant on the couple’s home where approximately 72 grams of methamphetamine were found. A Custer County judge has set bond for each at $100,000.

“People who deal in drugs belong behind bars not working for corrections,” ODOC Director Joe M. Allbaugh says.

ODOC STI agents, drug task force members, with support from the District 2 District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate.
